When there’s a large chance of rain and then you wind up with perfect light for most of your session, it’s paws to celebrate! Hah, see what I did there? I couldn’t resist. I am SO glad that Ashlyn and Taylor brought their sweet pup, Maggie, along for a portion of their engagement session. If you didn’t already know, now you do…I fully support your furbabies tagging along. I do suggest you bring an extra set of hands to take care of your furry friend when it’s time for you to have photos alone, and bring all the treats to reward for good behavior!
Ashlyn and Taylor opted to use City Park in New Orleans for their Engagement Session backdrop. This is one of my favorite locations of all time as it is the perfect blend of southern elegance and welcoming, easy access scenery. The Peristyle, even when crowded with yoga classes, dance rehearsals, or people lounging with friends, still provides a beautiful backdrop and there are so many sweet bridges and towering oak trees.
