Stephanie and Geoff’s wedding at Race and Religious was planned to perfection by Cj of Lonney Jane Productions. Their detailed touches were so unique and packed such a punch, I could have spent hours photographing the flowers and invitations alone. This is also one of those venues where it’s next to impossible to have a bad angle so it truly was the best way to end the busiest season of my career. Stephanie and Geoff brought their entire families and closest friends to a city they love to celebrate their union in style. I think the most memorable bit, at least from my perspective, was getting to second line with Kinfolk Brass Band, not once…but twice! Saturday night after their Welcome Party we all rode on school buses to the French Quarter and paraded through the foggy streets. There is something truly magical about New Orleans dressed in a misty fog. Anyone who has experienced it has likely felt like they stepped back in time or perhaps have been transported to another country. Either way, it is truly something to behold.
