Here it is, the short list of what I’m loving lately. I’m sharing this in hopes that it blesses you in some way. Simple as that!

• Back to (Home) School: I can hardly believe we are already a couple of weeks back into the school season. I created a school planner in Canva, to help us stay focused and organized this year. I’d be happy to share it with you, if you’re interested. We are using the same curriculum for our core subjects (Math and English Language Arts) but have added some new things as well. It’s too much for this email, but never too much for a conversation. Just reply if you’d like to learn more.
• Cooking: I recently posted in my Instagram stories some photos of english muffins I made and my DMs exploded with recipe requests!This recipe for homemade English Muffins is a definite keeper. We love how they turned out and they were super easy! We use our bread machine for the first mix and rise, then I finish them by hand.
• Meal Planning: We are still using the Plandy Mandy Meal Plans and loving them. I recently purchased the 20 Minute Meals and have gone through one week. These meals feed my family of six, suppers all week, usually for less than $80!
• Travel: I’m going to Switzerland, France and Italy this Fall! I can’t wait to photograph a beautiful wedding in the French Alps and do some traveling with my parents afterwards. While looking for a travel backpack I came across this great duffel bag from LL Bean that I purchased for my husband for his birthday. His travel bag was decades old and WORN OUT.
• Study: Our Thursday Bible Study has started up again and we are SO happy to be back! This semester we are going through the Book of Psalms. If you’re looking for a fantastic Study to join, I highly recommend you check out Community Bible Study. There are groups all over the world and there just may be one right by you!
• Verse: Psalm 4:8 on repeat, please. “I will both lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety” What a comfort it is to know that no matter how slippery the goods of this world are, or how shaky the foundations of our societies, God is on His throne. Not only does He see everything we are going through but He deeply loves and cares about us!
• (Anti) Social: Deleting Instagram off my phone. This season feels like one where less time on social media would be the right call. You may see some planned posts once in a while shared from my desktop, I do so love to encourage others and share recent work. I just don’t love how easily I get sucked into time spent mindlessly scrolling.
