Nothing beats the anticipation of a proposal! Jonathan and Ashton are blessed beyond measure by each other and I am so grateful to have been their chosen photographer for this special event in their lives. It was a gorgeous day along the levee and the sunset over the Mississippi River gave us picture perfect light!

Initially Jonathan had planned a picnic proposal along the grassy area of the levee but about an hour before “go time” I got a slightly panicked text that said “She wore pointy heels, move to plan B”. This message made me giggle and his flexibility proved to be a promising quality. The whole thing went off without a hitch.
